2022 Autumn Statement

The Autumn statement will be announced tomorrow (Thursday 17th) at 11:00am.

This statement has never been more critical. Less than 8 weeks after the tax cut in the mini budget which saw the pound crash against the dollar. Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has already reversed a lot of Mr Kwarteng's mini-budget but is looking to take this further in order to cut the UK's debt.

But with the cost of living on everyone's lips right now, inflation rose by 11.1% in October and the Bank of England warns that the UK is facing its longest recession since records began..what will tomorrows announcement bring.
